Gingerbread Time

Little blurry (sorry) I had to show where we stored our house. Our kitten is just too happy to help himself to any food left out.
"All done let's eat it now!"

My sweet girls, KDK, Ali, and MacK. What precious ladies I have been blessed with!

What was I saying about my precious ladies? They were suppose to make funny faces, notice that Ali is blocking KD's face instead.

Making a house

Every year my girls put together one of those Gingerbread House Kits. Craig and I enjoy watching them work together! (Hallelujah)
McKensie kept sneaking in licks of the icing. ( I caught her in the act )

These kits should have more icing. This year I didn't make extra icing for the house. What they had with the kit is all they got. I will never again use the icing bag that come with the kit, look at all the icing falling off the house :(

Ali and Christian let McKensie do most of the decorating this year. MacK was so happy :)

She kept telling her sisters to look at the directions on the box. "This doesn't look like the picture, you are doing it wrong", said MacK. I think this is why the girls just let her do the decorating.

McK's thoughts about being alone:

McKensie is not allowed to go downstairs alone in the mornings. One morning at 6:30 am she walked across the street to our wonderful neighbors house. We found out about this later that day, the daughter did not tell her parents that morning, she just walked her back home.
So this morning she comes in my room and says,"Mom I would like to go downstairs now." I told her that no one was awake to go with her maybe she could wake KD up and I didn't want her to be alone. This is what she told me,"Mom you silly I am never alone God is always with me." I almost fell out of my bed. I am so blessed to have my girl at such a young age realize that God will always be with her! My morning started out wonderfully!

My Brown Eye Girl

My cousin Chen(WhiteDovePhotography) took these beautiful pictures of McKensie. In the first picture she was not sure of what to think, of Chen taking her photo, but you can see she warmed right up. She is a camera girl, she loves taking pictures and having her picture taken.
