A short slide show with music :)
Alex and I put this little movie together for her teacher. I just found this software on my computer a couple of days ago and made a short video from some pictures. Alex loved it and wanted to make something.
For her class trip they went to The Challenger it's in Brownsburg, IN. Mrs. Miller took the pictures.

"Spanish"?
I have a Spanish speaking daughter.....
McKensie was reading a book, Max Goes To the Dentist. She was saying, "wow look at her grande teeth, ooh I speak Spanish just like, Dora!" "Didn't you know your daughter was Spanish?"

Funny Girl McKensie
McKensie just cracks me up!
to the girls....
"Stop laughing, be quiet or I'll beat you with a muscle."
to my sister.....
"Don't put your feet on my mom's bed because my feet are dirty."
to me....
"Don't you love you snuggle bug." (while her hand on my face) "Whose a cute mommy, whose a cute mommy?"
One day she was driving me crazy bouncing up and down on my bed. (this was after I had worked the night before, so I was cranky anyways) Loudly I said,"MCKENSIE KARLA" she stopped and looked at me with her beautiful brown eyes. I didn't have the heart to get after her so I asked her, "where did you get your beautiful brown eyes from?" (she is the only girl in my house with them) She thinks for a moment with her index finger beside her mouth, raising her finger she replies, "the Internet?" Crack me up!!!
Favorite McKensie story
Kensie was about 2-3 yrs of age at the time. Craig takes her often to get slushies from the gas station, she loves them.
We had put the girls to bed. I was finishing up dishes, Craig was watching TV, I know typical night mom's doing all the work, just kidding.
McKensie, comes back down the stairs, walks over to me.
"Mama, can you go get me a slushy?"
I said, "No, its time for bed sweetheart."
She then goes over to Craig.
"Daddy, can you go get me a slushy?"
Craig, says "No, McKensie it is to late its time for bed."
Then with questioning hands in the air she said, "Well somebody gotta because, I CAN'T DRIVE!!!"

SNOW DAY :)

CHRISTIAN....SHE HAD A BLAST THROWING SNOW ON EVERYONE.
ALEX JUST WANTED TO SHOVEL, SHE EVEN DID THE DRIVEWAY AND MADE 20 BUCKS!

McKENSIE TRIED TO SHOVEL, IT WAS A LITTLE TO DEEP SHE WAS JUST A LITTLE TO SMALL FOR THE SHOVEL TOO.

Basket Ball Season
This is in her gym at school. We enrolled our girls in school after homeschooling for 7 years. What a change! Alex was not excited until she found out that she could try out for Basketball :) Coach Clark was excited to have her on the team, she is the captain. Alex has a jersey on the wall Keener #13.
First home game, the girls are undefeated. They play two games each time, with a "A" team and a "B" team. Alex is the starter for the "B" team which is the six graders the "A" team is mostly fith graders. Alex plays on the "a" team as well, she subs.
The best play they have #51, it works every time! Go Arabians
It's good, two points!!!

McKensie's First Haircut :(
It has been a long time coming. I was not ready to cut my little bit's hair. I loved her long curly hair but, daddy did not. He was tired of listening to her scream (I do mean scream, like we were torturing her). I finally gave in and said yes to cutting her hair.
It was too hard for McKensie to turn away from watching Dora.
Long enough to sit on :)

Almost done....
"Look at all my hair mom!" The letters behind her spell out KEENER'S (just in case you are wondering). All said and done we cut about 10-11 inches off her hair.
